At Auburn Village Home Care, we believe that compassionate, personalized care is the foundation of a healthy and fulfilling life. Our story began with a deeply personal experience. Growing up with my grandparents, I had the privilege of becoming a caregiver for my grandmother after she suffered her first stroke. I assisted her with daily exercises, took walks with her, and read to her, and those moments of care and connection inspired me to pursue a career in nursing.
As a Registered Nurse with over 15 years of experience, I have gained valuable expertise in mental health, dementia, developmental disabilities, and medical surgical care. With this background, I opened Auburn Village with a vision to create a place where residents not only receive expert care but feel respected, valued, and truly at home.
Meet/Timeles Asegu
I’m Timeles Asegu, and my journey to becoming the founder of Auburn Village Home Care is deeply personal. Growing up, I had the privilege of being close to my grandparents, and it was my grandmother who first taught me the true meaning of caregiving. When she had her first stroke, I became her primary caregiver. I helped her with her daily exercises, took walks with her, and read her favorite books. Those moments, filled with love and connection, inspired me to dedicate my life to helping others in the same way.
My experiences with my grandmother shaped my desire to pursue a career in nursing, and I became a registered nurse with a deep passion for working with individuals who require specialized care. Over the past 15 years, I’ve gained extensive experience in mental health, dementia, developmental disabilities, and medical-surgical care. Along the way, I learned that the essence of care is not just about medical treatments, but about understanding the emotional and personal needs of each individual.
The decision to open Auburn Village Home Care came from my own experiences and the realization that there was a true need for a place where residents could receive expert care in a family-like environment. I wanted to create a facility where residents feel not only cared for but respected, valued, and cherished.
I understand firsthand how difficult it can be to find a home care facility that truly feels like home. That’s why I founded Auburn Village—to provide a safe, nurturing environment where each resident is treated like family. My mission is to provide personalized, compassionate care that focuses on the individual needs of every resident. I am committed to ensuring that every person in our care feels seen, heard, and cared for with the same love and respect I gave my own family.
